The inverted Cross is actually a Christian symbol created by a Christian who wanted be crucify inverted because he does not want to do die the same way as Jesus

In some ways the inverted cross represents humility

Yep, it's just until recent times where it was associated with the occult/Satanism, including those said churches. An upside-down crucifix (cross with Jesus crucified on it) is blasphemous.
